Yew Cottage is a luxury property in which to enjoy the peaceful rural surroundings and yet not be far from many attractions. All the furnishings are comfortable and good quality, with excellent lighting whether you want it bright or more subdued. The woodburner is the best we've seen. The kitchen is well equipped, and the welcome hamper had a lovely selection of Yorkshire goods. We would have no hesitation in returning.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The kitchen was perfectly equipped so we could easily prepare our own meals. Everything was generously provided from tea-bags to dressing gowns! Great location, within 30 minutes there is more than enough to keep you busy for a week.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation! The owners have thought of everything. It is finished to a very high specification. Very generous welcome hamper, thank you so much. Beautiful fixtures and fittings, huge spotless bathroom and very comfortable bed. We didn’t light the wood burner as the cottage was very warm despite it being the end of December. I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage!

3rd time here because it is the Best! Always excited to return to the garden. Last year I collected a few seeds from autumn seed pods and now I have 3 plants growing in my garden from Reynard House - a lovely reminder. Saw a hedgehog on the 1st night and many more late night hedgehog hunts ensued. Always a relaxing space, Love the big table perfect for crafts. Hopefully we'll be back.

It was really fun the gardens are amazing and so big! This is our 3rd time here because it's such a nice place to be and hope that I could come back every day. The big field is great for a game of tig or any sports game to play with. Thank you so much to putting so much effort in thhe house and gardens to make it a great place to stay and enjoy it very much and have loads of fun!

It is a great house and amazing gardens. I have loved my stay at Reynard House. This is a place where I would come back for another week or more. The gardens are fabulous especially for hide and seek. So for older people there are a lot of benches (or if you need a break). The top floor is amazing. If you can, you need to see the summer sun set, from the top floor. Plus, if you are sporty there's great grass to play on. And during the summer you need to go to the orchard to get a look at the plums. 🙂

Reynard House has real ‘WOW’ factor. Everything was perfect. The five bedrooms with ensuites are equally stunning, three of which have the most glorious views of the gardens. The generous welcome hamper was greatly appreciated. We love this part of Yorkshire and the house is well located for exploring. There are good access roads to the property and it is easy to find. We will return!

It's a great house and massive gardens. I have loved playing in the amazing gardens. The long stretch of grass is amazing for football and other sports. The gardens are amazing for playing hide and seek and fun for running around as well. Exploring all of the gardens was so much fun. The top floor is amazing and you've got to see the gardens from the top floor they are absolutely amazing from above. The bedrooms are amazing and it is exactly like a mansion . Go to the orchard and look at the plums. 🙂

Lovely cottage with wonderful views across the fields especially when the cows were in view. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with all the necessary items (plus a lot more) for you to enjoy. The welcome hamper was a delight. The cottage is very central for visiting The Yorkshire Dales and inside the cottage there are numerous leaflets showing various attractions to visit. This is a beautiful part of Yorkshire.

The view from the bedroom on our first morning was as if we were in Tuscany! Hob Cottage is set in a beautiful tranquil spot on the estate. We loved everything about our time there. We felt so relaxed and comfortable in the fabulous interior. The welcome pack was more than generous.

Reynard house is by far the best holiday rental we have ever stayed in, a quintessentially English country house. The property is outstanding and the gardens are incredibly beautiful. A walk in the garden is a whole experience on its own-a garden you can get lost in. Cannot wait to return!

This is our second time at this wonderful house - we couldn't not return after last year! We all really enjoy the space, beautiful rooms and the incredible gardens. The gardens are such a special place to relax, enjoy the dusk and dawn and discover all the plants growing. We enjoyed some apple crumble from the fallers and collecting a few seedheads. The hamper provided on arrival was so well appreciated by all ages and devoured quickly - a lovely touch.

I could start & finish this review with this first sentence, but it wouldn't really be helpful for potentials guests, I think Hob Green Estate & Yew Cottage are a place to dream of, we were lucky to be staying there for 2 weeks. Starting a new day with the beautiful views the cottage offers, what could have been better? The decorations, the furniture, the love to detail, the thoughtful touches everywhere! Yew Cottage was definitely one of the best cottages we ever stayed.

The location is great for a variety of activities- gardens, eating and drinking, history, walking, all easily accessible. The house gardens are beautiful. This was such a comfortable, cosy cottage, with wonderful views, and in a great location for Ripon, Harrogate and nearby attractions. We saw red kites, hares, deer and the first swallows of the season. Highly recommended.

A very clean, very well equipped and spacious house. Large bedrooms with each having their own large bathroom. The gardens were immense and beautifully kept. Areas for children to play and many quiet places to sit just to enjoy the plants and trees. It was a perfect place for our extended family.

Yew cottage is situated in Hob Green Estate. We found our stay enjoyable relaxing and had the added bonus of been able to walk around the formal gardens . The cottage is luxurious, comfortable and cosy and has everything you need for your stay. The views are spectacular, we enjoyed watching the abundance of birds which visit the garden ,whilst also been lulled to sleep by the owls. An ideal base for, Fountains Abbey 3miles away, Harrogate 7 miles and close to Pately Bridge, Ripon , Harewood House.

This is an exceptional place to stay. The house is a spacious and comfortable place to be (irrespective of weather). It has been designed to a very high spec and it is beautifully appointed. This is a comfortable, spacious and well equipped house with extensive, well maintained gardens, and plenty of parking. It was perfect for our large family gathering. We were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do in the area in early March. We spent one and a half days at Fountains Abbey / Studley Water Gardens, half a day at days at Brimham Rocks, a day in York, a day in Harrogate, a day at RHS Garden Harlow Carr and a day in front of the log burner whilst it snowed outside!

A beautiful property in a beautiful setting. Immaculately clean, comfortable and well appointed. It has to be the most well equipped kitchen we've ever had in a holiday house. We wanted for nothing during our stay and cannot fault it. It was the perfect place to stay with our extended family and celebrate a big birthday. The gardens were a lovely place to wander around and explore, even in February, and especially with the children. We would definitely recommend staying here!

An incredibly spacious, well appointed, well furnished house with acres of land to explore with the kids. a fabulous property with easy access to local attractions. There were 6 adults and 4 children on our visit and we had so much space in which to live. BBQ and external seating were superb. The whole look and feel of this property is what you expect given the photo's and the description. Highly recommend for those wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

The house and grounds were beautifully maintained. Everything you needed was provided. Heather, one of the owners went above and beyond to make the stay really special. During the heatwave, she provided a fan at my request, a parasol for the outdoor table and generously let me pick fruit and vegetables from the gardens for meal preparation. It was a peaceful sanctuary with both luxury and breathtaking nature taking centre stage. Highly recommended.
